CYCLO COMPUTER
Cyclo Computer Cateye Astrale model CC-CD100
To monitor my cycling performance I have installed a cyclo computer Cateye Astrale model CC-CD100 ( I managed to find the sale bill which was dated on 8/12/2000) The cyclo meter is still in good working condition.
One of the function that is very useful to me is the r.p.m. I would use the r.p.m. function to control my cycling rather than the speed(km/hr). Normally I would maintain 60 to 75 r.p.m. For hill climbing I have to play with the speed shifter to get the above r.p.m. reading.
Last Saturday (6/3/2010) only three (out of six) of our group turned up. Wan Aziz, Halid and myself. Halim was in Mecca for Umrah. Cikgu Tan and Awie did not cycle as they have other matter to attend.
We decided to cycle on road since Halid was using road bike. We cycled to Batu Empat and then to Kg Bukit Lintang. Before we reached Kg Lukut mosque we turned left to Project Perumahan PPRT. (Houses built for the poor). We cycled through a road until we reached at the foot of hill Kg Lukut forest. This area was where Big Foot steps were found as reported in local newspapers.
I have never passed this track for the last 13 months when an animal attacked our cycling group. I was thrown out of my bicycle when a panic stricken wild boar ran in front of me. My glasses was broken and my left knee and elbow wounded. This incident made me phobia to cycle to this area. But today after being challenged by Wan Aziz I managed to overcome that. We cycled to the area and stopped to take photos of ourselves to mark the day.

We continued on cycling to Kg Lukut China and then to Kota Kecil before we stopped at Warung Tok Wahab for roti canai and teh/milo tarik.
